Our History

United Christian Ministries was formed in 1989 by a group of area church leaders realizing the need for a cooperative ministry to meet the basic needs of those in our county experiencing financial crises beyond their control. The founders recognized the value of combining their resources and developing a system of record keeping and accountability to best address genuine needs of their neighbors.

In late 2011, UCM joined with Samaritan Health Clinic of Pickens County to form the collaboration known as Good Samaritan Alliance.

In January 2003, we moved to our present home at 303 Dacusville Highway in Easley.
